Read this section before the bonus section
Most players read the bonus percentage first — the 100%, the 150%, the big number in the banner — and never get to the withdrawal terms at all. That’s backwards. The bonus percentage determines how much you might play with. The withdrawal terms determine whether you ever actually get paid.
The four numbers that matter
- Maximum withdrawal per week or month.A fixed cap that doesn’t rise with account history or verified status is worth noticing — most legitimate operators raise limits for long-standing, verified players. One that doesn’t is worth asking why.
- Verification timeline, promised versus typical. The promise is in the marketing. The typical is in player reports and complaint boards. Check both.
- Whether dormancy or maintenance fees exist, and how quickly they trigger after inactivity.
- What’s excluded from bonus wagering, and whether that list is disclosed before you play or only revealed at withdrawal time.
The clause that’s actually a trap
Request
Verification
Approved
Paid
The gap between “Approved” and “Paid” is where a legitimate compliance step and a stall tactic look identical from the outside — the only difference is whether it resolves on a predictable timeline.
Watch for language like “management reserves the right to request additional verification at any stage, including after a withdrawal is approved” — see it broken down in our Fine Print Translator. It’s standard-sounding compliance language everywhere, and on its own it isn’t a red flag — real KYC obligations work this way. The difference between a normal compliance step and a stall tactic isn’t whether the clause exists. It’s whether it gets invoked consistently, on a predictable timeline, or clusters specifically around large wins with no clear resolution date.
A five-minute test before you deposit
- Search “[casino name] withdrawal complaints” and read the actual pattern, not just the star rating.
- Check whether the license number resolves on the regulator’s real public registry.
- Check whether the withdrawal cap is fixed or scales with account history.
- Read the KYC/verification clause specifically — not the whole terms page, just that one section.
Five minutes before you deposit is a much better trade than finding any of this out while waiting on a withdrawal that isn’t coming.
